Fourth Monkey is a trailblazing drama school, offering intensive and highly creative actor training and theatre making courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Our professional actor training courses are designed to develop fearless, versatile actors and artists, confident on stage and screen or in creating their own opportunities when they step into the industry.
Our curriculum has been celebrated for its decolonisation by our accrediting partner Falmouth University and our students, working as an ensemble, are provided a space to celebrate and define their own individual voice within it. Our philosophy has often been imitated – as they say imitation should be seen as the greatest complement; but our genuine desire to challenge the status quo and our fearlessness in doing so is what sets us apart from those who choose to follow. Ongoing individual holistic and developmental support from the Training Team is central to the Fourth Monkey training philosophy. Training covers a range of core practices, with Meisner Technique and Grotowski are at the heart of our creative acting and physical approach.
