Fourth Monkey Collaborations
Collaboration runs through everything we do
As a registered charity and as part of the cultural foundations that Fourth Monkey was built upon, our collaborative work is driven by our belief that the arts should be truly open, inclusive and accessible.
Collaboration is at the heart of our training, our professional company, supporting the development of emerging creatives and working with creatives and communities throughout the UK.
From gifting in-kind and offering heavily discounted studio hire to our alumni and other fledgling creatives for rehearsals and new projects, to creating opportunity for young people to better access professional actor training and the transferable skills it offers, collaboration really does run through everything that we do.
The ethos is so similar to our own and it is so lovely hear alumni talk with such faith and understanding about a truly inclusive industry and training sector

Inspiring a New Generation
-
Each year we deliver over 130 FREE Schools Workshops across the UK each year, working with over 2,000 young people. Our workshops take our industry-leading training to Schools regardless if they have a drama department or not and are complimentary to curriculum requirements.
-
We offer FREE Open Workshops each year, providing over 250 participants with the opportunity to experience what Actor Training at Fourth Monkey is all about at our London or Bristol home.
Supporting Aspiring Actors
-
All of our auditions are completely FREE. We are the first and only UK Drama School to remove all financial barriers from our auditions. Part of our commitment to making drama school and actor training genuinely accessible.
-
We offer part of full scholarships for students who need them most each year – we’ve awarded over £400,000 in scholarships since 2010. All scholarships are entirely funded by Fourth Monkey.
Supporting Artists and Arts Organisations
-
We offer in-kind and heavily discounted studio hire each year, equivalent to over £50,000, arts charities, organisations and our alumni.
-
We collaborate with independent arts organisations and other arts institutions to support their publicly funded work, providing organisations with the opportunity to work with our actors in training or alumni.
Supporting our Community
Removing barriers to drama training and creating pathways to the arts and theatre industry for young people from our local communities in London and Bristol.
-
Our Young Actors Company is funded by Fourth Monkey, offering free and partially funded places to those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access such an opportunity.
-
We are proud to be part of a wider network of cultural organisations offering young people living in the local area an opportunity to access a variety of free cultural experiences, including; free tickets to performances, work experience opportunities and much more.
