Celebrating Fourth Monkey's Schools Workshops
Movement Masterclass at Stratford-upon-Avon CollegeDesigned around Fourth Monkey’s thematic training approach of Act. Make. Move. Collaborate, our free Schools Workshops are an integral element of our wider Participation provision, with our team of professional practitioners delivering up to 60 workshops across the UK every year.
From Lancashire to Cornwall and everywhere in-between, we love sharing a dynamic, fun insight into our approach to drama school training in a way that is reflective of the work our students do in the rehearsal room on a daily basis.
We hope that the schools and the young people we work with get as much out of our workshops as we do, and we were delighted to see that Stratford-upon-Avon College had shared a fantastic write up of the Movement Masterclass that movement practitioner and Fourth Monkey Participation Coordinator Darcy recently shared with their first and second year Acting students.
Acting lecturer at Stratford-upon-Avon College, Kerry Downing, said about the collaboration between our Participation team and their students: “Fourth Monkey’s ethos about building a thinking actor with tools is the same as ours.”
We could not agree more!
